Solution engineer (SaaS Scale-up in GRC)

Our client is looking for a Solution Engineer to help prospective customers understand how their SaaS platform can improve GRCA processes (Governance, Risk, Compliance and Audit). This role plays a vital part in the sales journey by demonstrating how the solution meets real business needs in a simple and powerful way.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Account Executives throughout the entire sales cycle, from discovery to closing
  • Deliver live product demos and presentations tailored to each customer’s use case and needs
  • Translate customer challenges into concrete technical solutions using the platform’s capabilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor for both business and technical stakeholders
  • Take ownership of technical validation processes such as RFPs and security reviews
  • Identify solution gaps and provide input to product and development teams
  • Translate new product features and updates into clear sales messaging and use cases
  • Maintain demo environments, technical documentation, and reusable use-case and marketing content
  • Keep up with industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings in the GRC space
  • Represent the company at events, webinars, and meetings as a technical subject matter expert

Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar role in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) is a plus
  • Self-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial with a passion for SaaS sales and solution-driven conversations
  • Ability to explain complex topics clearly and engagingly, to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable giving product demos and answering in-depth questions on architecture and integrations
  • Experience supporting sales to mid-market and enterprise customers, handling multi-stakeholder conversations
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first, solution-oriented mindset
