Junior software engineer (SaaS scale-up in GRC)

About the role
Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up helping organizations manage their risk and compliance in a smarter, more collaborative way. They are currently transforming a successful—but aging—single-tenant monolith into a modern, modular, multi-tenant platform designed for the next stage of their growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Learn and build: contribute to a multi-year modernization journey while gaining deep insights into a complex SaaS platform.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams: understand real user needs and translate them into solid, maintainable code.
  • Grow your technical skills: work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, event-driven design, and secure cloud architectures (the platform runs on Microsoft Azure).
  • Be part of an ambitious and supportive team: learn from experienced engineers, receive thorough code reviews, and take on more responsibility as you grow.

Your toolkit

  • Hands-on experience with .NET (C#) from a first job or internship.
  • A solid understanding of software fundamentals: object-oriented programming, databases, and APIs.
  • Curiosity about modern architectural patterns (modular monoliths, event-driven systems, microservices) and a strong drive to learn how to apply them.
  • A passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative mindset: you enjoy asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning from others.

Bonus points

  • Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing.
  • Exposure to Domain Driven Design (DDD).
  • Dutch-speaking skills.
