The Role:
This product studio is looking for an Engineering Lead with a strong software engineering background who is passionate about GenAI and eager to explore its potential. While GenAI knowledge is a plus, solid engineering expertise and a hands-on approach to building scalable software solutions are essential. As the Engineering Lead, this person will take charge of driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact digital products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering initiatives across projects, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, and built with a Security by Design mindset.
- Drive GenAI efforts within the studio, applying cutting-edge technologies where relevant while maintaining a pragmatic, results-driven approach.
- Collaborate directly with clients, offering technical expertise and strategic insights to align engineering solutions with business goals.
- Mentor and coach fellow engineers, sharing knowledge about GenAI and helping to establish a culture of continuous learning.
- Experiment with and apply emerging tools and platforms such as LangChain and Mistral, bringing new ideas to the team.
- Move from experimentation to real-world applications, developing proof of concepts and advancing projects to full production.
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience: 4 – 10 years in software engineering, with some exposure to or interest in GenAI or machine learning (while not mandatory, this is a strong plus).
- Pragmatic engineering focus: A hands-on and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to move quickly from concept to practical, scalable applications.
- Security focus: Strong understanding of Security by Design principles and experience implementing data protection in software solutions.
- Client-facing skills: Ability to simplify complex concepts, lead technical discussions, and provide actionable advice to clients.
