Account executive – SaaS scale-up

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive to join their team and introduce innovative solutions to customers in Belgium. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing clients, researching and targeting new business prospects, driving sales growth within assigned territories or accounts, and closing deals. This role is located in Ghent, with the flexibility to work from home up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to determine target companies and define the best approach to engage them.
  • Prospect Identification: Identify potential clients and engage with them through email, LinkedIn, or phone.
  • Understanding Customer Needs: Gain insights into the pain points and goals of prospects to offer tailored solutions that help them succeed.
  • Solution Presentation: Demonstrate how the company’s solutions can help clients achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Deal Closure: Close deals with both small businesses and large enterprises.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to set up and support inbound marketing campaigns.

  • Social and Communicative: You are social, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English: You are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
    SaaS Sales Experience: You have a minimum of two years of experience in SaaS sales, ideally working with both SMEs and enterprise clients.
  • Ambition to Build a Sales Career: You are eager to grow your sales career within the team.
