Account executive (SaaS scale-up)

As an Account Executive at our client, you will be the driving force by bringing their SaaS solution to new customers and building a strong and sustainable customer base primed for up-sell – every single day.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Take full ownership of the sales cycle: from prospecting to closing deals and onboarding new clients, focusing on driving new business.
  • Partner with an SDR to maximize pipeline opportunities, but maintain responsibility for managing, advancing, and closing your deals.
  • Adopt a results-driven mindset to efficiently move prospects through the funnel and secure successful deal closures.
  • Develop and execute innovative, personalized outreach strategies, including discovery calls and product demos, to engage a (global) client base.
  • Act as a creative problem solver, addressing client challenges and tailoring solutions to overcome any roadblocks during the sales process.
  • Leverage your ability to work with diverse customers across different regions, maintaining a global perspective in your approach.
  • Own your pipeline by accurately forecasting revenue and consistently delivering on quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Heads of Sales to refine and optimize sales strategies and processes, driving overall business growth.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, continuously improving your skills, enhancing the customer experience, and staying informed on market trends and industry developments.

Does this sound like you?

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience selling to Director, VP and C-level executives in a Tech or SaaS environment
  • Experience with and/or knowledge in the GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) areas is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success selling into enterprise and large enterprise in Financial Services.
  • You’re self-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial with a passion for SaaS sales.
  • You’re a validated quota achiever with strong customer reference, proven by repeatable sales and consistently delivering on high value revenue deals.
  • You have team selling experience
  • You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • You’re fluent in English; additional Dutch language is a plus.
