About the role
We’re looking for a strategic and Marketing & growth manager to define how this company scales, intelligently, efficiently, and sustainably. This is not a traditional sales/marketing role. It’s a growth leadership position at the intersection of product, marketing, partnerships, and go-to-market innovation.
You’ll lead the effort to reach thousands of smaller accounts in scalable, digital ways, while also doubling down on smart distribution channels through partnerships, corporate clusters, and key ecosystems with large prospects and accounts. You will build and oversee the company’s full go-to-market strategy and manage a marketeer (and partners) responsible for executing it ranging from product marketing to digital growth and onboarding experiences.
Responsibilities
1. Scalable growth across existing (smaller) accounts, digital first
Drive growth across thousands of smaller existing accounts through smart, data-driven strategies:
- Develop and lead digital marketing campaigns (together with a technical profile that will report into you) that increases engagement, feature adoption, and upsell opportunities across the long tail of 6000+ clients.
- Build product marketing narratives that help customers understand the value of key features and use cases, clearly and creatively.
- Design and optimize onboarding flows and activation loops (e.g. video tutorials, in-app messaging, email workflows) to shorten time-to-value and boost product-led growth.
- Use analytics and segmentation to tailor communications and interventions, turn passive users into active champions.
- Manage and coordinate a digital growth specialist (in-house) to execute campaigns that drive measurable results at scale.
2. Strategic partnerships with key accounts, ecosystem-led
Shape and lead partnership-driven growth with major actors in the global supply chain:
- Build go-to-market strategies targeted at shipping lines, port authorities, freight forwarders, and global logistics service providers, focusing on long-term relationships over short-term sales.
- Identify key accounts where trust, compliance, or digital transformation is driving demand, and design multi-stakeholder engagement plans accordingly.
- Co-develop (with the founders) strategic partnerships with large maritime players and industry groups that can unlock network effects or open up access to new customer clusters.
- Coordinate with product, legal, and leadership teams to align on co-innovation opportunities and enterprise onboarding.
- Represent the company in key logistics and maritime ecosystems, building visibility, credibility, and influence at the highest levels.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, go-to-market leadership, strategic growth.
- Strong background in B2B, preferably SaaS, platform, or digital product companies.
- Proven ability to scale product adoption through non-linear channels: digital marketing, partnerships, and ecosystem plays.
- Comfortable owning the strategy and managing a small multidisciplinary team or network of specialists (e.g. digital, growth, content).
- A creative systems thinker, you enjoy building structured strategies but also love testing new, clever growth ideas.
- Fluent in English and comfortable operating in an international, enterprise-facing scale-up.
