Software engineer (SaaS scale-up in sales enablement)

Why this role exists

Our client is on a mission to help B2B sales teams reach a new standard of productivity through simplicity, effectiveness, and keeping the human touch at the center.

They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to become a core part of their engineering team. You won’t just be closing tickets; you will play a key role in defining how their systems scale, how their data flows, and how they maintain code quality as they grow

They believe the future of engineering is AI-augmented. They don’t view AI as a replacement, but as a lever. They want engineers who are excited to use modern tools (like Copilot and LLMs) to automate repetitive development work and focus on architecture and creative problem-solving

What you bring to the table

They are looking for a thoughtful engineer who has moved past the “make it work” phase and cares about “making it maintainable.” You likely have between 3 to 7 years of experience, and you align with the following:

  • Proven Engineering Fluency: You have deep experience in Python or Golang (or a strong background in another backend language and a willingness to switch). You understand the trade-offs in API design, database modeling, and system architecture.
  • A Pragmatic Approach: You know that the “perfect” code is the code that delivers value to the customer and can be maintained by the team. You avoid over-engineering.
  • Curiosity for Tooling: You actively look for ways to work smarter, not harder. You are enthusiastic about integrating AI-powered workflows to boost your own velocity and the team’s efficiency.
  • Collaborative Leadership: You enjoy discussing technical decisions with the team. You are comfortable mentoring junior colleagues, reviewing code with empathy, and fostering a culture of psychological safety.

What’s in it for you

  • Autonomy & Trust: You will have ownership over your work. They hire smart people and get out of their way, trusting you to manage your time and your technical decisions.
  • Modern, Efficient Environment: They provide the best tooling available (including AI subscriptions) so you can focus on the work that matters, not the boilerplate.
  • Shared Success: A competitive package including stock options—when they win, you win.
  • Sustainable Culture: They believe in a marathon, not a sprint. They offer flexible hours, respect your time off, and prioritize a healthy work-life balance alongside high performance.
