Are you passionate about electronics and problem-solving? At their manufacturing site in Aartselaar, you’ll assist their quality engineer in PCB repairs, supplier inspections, and production support to ensure seamless assembly and high-quality standards. You’ll also contribute to test development, new design implementations, and programming tasks to enhance their innovative lamp technology.

Job Description

  • PCB Repairs: Detect and carry out component-level repairs on PCBs.
  • Supplier Inspection: Inspect delivered components from suppliers to ensure quality assurance.
  • Production Support: Collaborate with the production department to keep the assembly line running and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • PCB Assembly & Testing: Support the manufacturing of PCBs (processor circuit boards) for the lamp.
  • Test Development: Develop, execute, and document various test procedures, such as safety tests and temperature tests in a lab.
  • New Design Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of a new lamp design in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meetings & Collaboration: Participate in weekly meetings with different teams (production, design, etc.) to optimize processes.
  • Programming: Independently write and modify test scripts as needed.

You for Them

  • More than 3 years of experience with electronic repair and testing
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Linux)
  • Experience with fine-pitch soldering is a nice to have
  • Detail-oriented, problem solver with strong collaboration skills
  • Hands-on mentality and enjoys being present at the lab/manufacturing site
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
