After earning a spot in one of Europe’s top tech accelerator programs, they’re scaling rapidly and seeking an AI Engineer to join their ambitious team.
The Role
As an AI Engineer, you’ll develop cutting-edge algorithms to automate video analysis in sports environments. Your work will span computer vision, time series analysis, object detection, tracking, and tactical event recognition. You’ll help design neural network architectures (including Transformers, CNNs, RNNs, and LLMs), build 3D models from 2D video, optimize performance, and push the limits of applied AI in sport.
You’ll be both a researcher and a builder, contributing to experimental models and deploying robust, scalable code into real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI algorithms for computer vision and data analysis.
- Design and optimize deep learning architectures (Transformers, CNN, RNN, etc.).
- Contribute to core product development and integration.
- Optimize existing codebases and AI pipelines.
- Conduct data preprocessing, labeling, and transformation.
- Research the latest advancements in AI and computer vision.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to present findings.
- Write clear, maintainable documentation.
Must-Have Skills
- Proficiency with Git and Python (especially NumPy and PyTorch).
- Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts like neural networks, embeddings, classification.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Strong background in mathematics.
- Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, or C++.
- Experience using OpenCV or similar image processing libraries.
