Account executive DACH (Logistics SaaS scale-up)

About the role:
As an Account Executive focused on the German market, you’ll play a critical role in expanding their presence in the DACH region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Market Expansion: Build the business in Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing, and Food & Beverage sectors in Germany.
  • Enterprise SaaS Sales: Use a laser-focused approach to identify decision-making units (DMUs) and guide prospects through the buying process with persistence and relationship-building.
  • Implementation Collaboration: Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of the software by working closely with the Implementation team after closing deals.
  • Networking and Outreach: Identify and attend key industry events and networks to increase brand visibility.
  • Collaboration: Report directly to the Sales Director while collaborating regularly with Account Executives and Business Development Representatives from other regions.

You’ll primarily work from a location that supports your business goals, while frequently traveling to visit clients. Additionally, every six weeks, you’ll touch base with the team at the Ghent HQ. A comprehensive two-week onboarding program at the HQ will ensure you’re equipped for success.

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in selling enterprise SaaS solutions and successfully winning enterprise accounts.
  • Ideally has experience in the Logistics & Supply Chain sector.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of managing complex DMUs and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Brings a win-win mindset and excels in building long-term client relationships.
  • Is highly proactive, resilient, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to open up new markets.
  • Lives in North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg, or Bavaria.
  • Speaks and writes native-level German and can conduct professional conversations in English (internal company language).
